Dr. Charles E. Mainous, took his first trip to Ukraine in 1992 and God gave him a burning desire to minister to the orphans and needy of that former Communist country. In 2001 Dr. Mainous began Afflicted Bible Missions. ABM works with Ukrainian nationals in church planting, evangelism and supporting between 10 and 15 orphanages and the almost 2,000 children and adults in them.
